The period building on the corner of Sommerstrasse and Herbststrasse is located in a quiet residential area of the northern borough of Reinickendorf, and there in the eponymous district. Its location promises plenty of greenery in a charming and attractive setting, located a linear distance of roughly six kilometres from the town centre.
The district is well connected to the public transportation network and served by several rapid transit, underground and bus lines. Small bakeries, cafés and grocery stores lie within walking distance, while several supermarkets and discounters are also within easy reach.
The business unit on the ground floor is the only one of its kind on the plot of 651 square metres. Located in a typical residential area, the commercial units of 138 square metres would be suitable for an office or retail business, and also for a gastronomic enterprise. The gastronomy rooms that occupy the business premises are generously dimensioned. The windows of the rooms of 46, 28 and 20 square metres. The entrance is located directly on the corner of the period building. Four lockers in a combined size of 112 square metres are assigned to this unit in the building’s fully built basement for storage purposes, and these are exclusively accessible from the commercial unit.
Located beyond the guest rooms toward the yard side and accessed via a lengthy hallway is a kitchen of around 15 square metres, equipped with an extractor hood whose vent pipe goes up to the roof, and gender-segregated WCs.
In an effort to preserve and enhance the visual appearance of this building on the intersection of Sommerstrasse and Herbststrasse, the façade will be repainted, while the addition of rusticated stone blocks will lend a touch of elegance to the bottom section of the building.

This charming period building from 1912 is located on the corner of Sommerstrasse and Herbststrasse in the middle of a quiet and attractive residential location of Reinickendorf district. Another special aspect of this location is the coexistence of various cultures and the ways in which they interact on a daily basis in this well-developed district in the eponymous borough of Reinickendorf.
The district has a population of 83,447, the age average being 42.7 years, and extends over an area of 10.5 square kilometres. Reinickendorf, formerly a hamlet grouped around a green and named Alt-Reinickendorf, is considered the oldest village of Berlin, its first recorded mention dating back to 1247. Today, it is characterised by the full spectrum of urban infrastructure, including healthcare facilities like the Red Cross Hospitals and the Montessori Children’s House, or retail venues such as pharmacies, supermarkets and bakeries. Among the 21 schools in the district are eight primary schools, three grammar schools, three secondary schools, one vocational college and two private schools. A number of ditches and ponds, playgrounds and parks such as Volkspark Schönholzer Heide make Reinickendorf a very likeable place to live.
The distance to Berlin’s historic town centre is around 7 kilometres. The Berlin-Schönholz commuter station, located close to the residential neighbourhood around Herbststrasse and Sommerstrasse, is served by the rapid transit lines S1, S25 and S26. Alternatively, you can take underground lines U6 or U8, both of which pass through the district and connect you to the shopping centre Hallen am Borsigturm or to the local recreational area Am Schäfersee, among other destinations. In future, the decommissioning of Tegel Airport will further enhance the quality of life in the leafy district of Reinickendorf as well as in the adjacent areas of Pankow, Wedding, Borsigwalde and Tegel which will no longer be exposed to aviation noise.
