Rheinberg is a town on the lower Rhine in the district of Wesel and has a population of around 32,000 who are spread across a number of smaller localities, including the village of Wallach. The houses with the condominiums now available for sale are set into a quiet residential area.
Wallach lies just one kilometre west of the Rhine, directly in the beautiful Rheinvorland nature protection area which in turn is part of an EU bird sanctuary. The surroundings of Rheinberg are criss-crossed by a number of picturesque hiking and cycling trails. The area is also highly suitable for horseback riding and aquatics. Things to do for families with children include the TerraZoo educational zoo which features a reptile house, among many other exhibits.

A number of daily commuters have moved here from the Rhine-Ruhr metro region because they appreciate the peaceful lifestyle so close to nature reserves. They commute to work using either public transportation from the town centre of Rheinberg or travelling by car on federal routes and motorways -A42 and A57. The nearest cities are Duisburg, Oberhausen and Mülheim an der Ruhr.
